Today’s newsletter is going to be about fun part about ads - the creative piece.

Now let’s be real for a second.

Most ads get ignored. You’re probably just scrolled past a few recently without even knowing it.

And it probably might not be because the product is bad, but because the ad creative is just not getting there.

When it comes to building creatives out - you need to make sure you have certain types in place matching the buyers journey. Something that makes buyers stop, click, and book a demo in the future.

After working with hundreds of SaaS campaigns at Roveir, I’ve seen one thing hold true: the right creative can mean the difference between wasted budget and consistent pipeline. and the ads that consistently convert fall into a few proven buckets.

Here’s the framework you need to follow 👇

1. Benefit-Oriented Ads

These ads skip the product features and go straight to the outcome founders actually want.

Thinks messaging like:

  • “Close deals 40% faster with automated follow-ups.”

  • “Cut reporting time from hours to minutes.”

Here are a few examples I found that outline the product benefit quite well.

👉Rewrite one of your ads today so the headline is the transformation, not the tool.

2. Differentiator Ads

When every competitor promises the same result, you need to spotlight the one thing only you can do.

Some copy examples

  • “The only CRM with native Slack automation.”

  • “No-code customization in minutes, not weeks.”

Instantly and Zapier here crush it.

👉 Ask yourself: if a prospect only remembers one thing about us, what should it be? Build your ad around that.

3. Proof-Based Ads

Promises don’t sell in SaaS. Proof does. Use hard numbers, logos, or testimonials.

Copy Examples:

  • “Trusted by 1,200+ SaaS teams.”

  • “Rated #1 in G2 Crowd for Customer Support.”

Deel crushes proof ads!

👉 Grab one stat from your last client success story and test it in an ad headline.

4. Pain-Point Ads

Nothing grabs attention faster than calling out the exact frustration your audience feels.
Examples:

  • “Still exporting CSVs at midnight?”

  • “Sales blaming marketing again? Fix it in 1 dashboard.”

Clickup & Active Campaign are perfect examples of companies doing these well.

👉 Write down your top 3 customer complaints. Each one can become an ad.

Yes, even in B2B. A well-timed meme not only gets shared but makes your brand memorable.
